I received my master’s degree from the California School of Professional Psychology, and have post masters coursework in Play and Art Therapy from the University of California, San Diego. My undergraduate degree is in Communications from Syracuse University, and I attended UCI to receive a teaching credential in Early Childhood Education. I am certified to facilitate groups for Smart Recovery, helping individuals gain independence from addictions with scientific based tools to effectively mange thoughts, feelings and behaviors.

Beyond my education and work experience, I bring my life experience to every client I meet. I have been happily married for over 30 years and am a proud mother of an adult son and daughter. In my own life I have been touched by addiction, illness and other struggles. I know what it is like to overcome challenges in your life.  I have sat on the board of the American Cancer Society, Saddleback Valley Division and was named Volunteer of the Year in both 1999 and 2000.
